Casino Poems: Love is Gambling

They say love is a gamble but that can't be true. Because I wasn't gambling when I found you. I wasn't looking for love, my heart was cold. 

If I did have a hand, my hand I would fold. Why take a chance on something so rare? It's a game, it's a gamble, and it just isn't fair. 

But neither is life and what's life without love? It's no life for me so I look up above. As I pray for some help in this game I can't win. 

I push the button, my chance starts to spin. Just when I think my luck has ran out, I run into you and lose all doubt. 

So if love is a gamble, then grab the dice. No matter the cost, I'll pay it twice. I'll give you my chips, my tokens and more. 

I'll give you my love, it's you I adore. So if love is a gamble, then gamble you must. It's all or nothing, it's all or bust.
